You may appeal any grade that will appear on your school certificate. This applies to:
- Assessed grades
- Examination grades
- Grades for professional examinations and apprentice (trade) examinations
- Grades relating to orderliness and conduct.
You may also appeal any assessment of skills. In primary and lower secondary schools, you may also appeal the term grade that appears on the certificate.
The time limit for appealing examination and assessment grades is ten days. The time limit for appealing professional and apprenticeship examinations, and also skill evaluation is three weeks. Within the time limits, you can request the reasons behind the grades given for oral examinations, the assessed grades and grades for practical examinations. You cannot request reasons for grades given for written examinations.
